Guests may want to spray bug repellant and put on sunscreen prior to arriving at WCHS. Please DO NOT bring bug repellant, sunscreen or bottles/cans to graduation. Water and Churchill Class of 2021 graduation fans will be made available at the stadium, courtesy of the Booster Club and the PTSA.  Please be sure to utilize the restroom prior to your arrival. The stadium is equipped with restroom facilities. All graduates, staff, and guests are not required to wear a mask before, during, or after the ceremony while outdoors on campus, in accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and MCPS guidelines for outdoor gatherings (per MCPS notification May 19, 2021).  All graduates, staff and guests that are not vaccinated may continue to wear a mask but are not required to. Hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the stadium, both inside and outside. There will be a First Aid tent located inside the guest entrance to the stadium and will be staffed by our school nurse and athletic trainer. We all recognize the importance of capturing this special moment and taking photographs is an essential part of graduation. To limit unnecessary movement we ask that you abide by these protocols.  There will be a professional photographer on site. Guests will not be permitted to leave their seats to take pictures.  Families will have an opportunity to take pictures following the ceremony.  The ceremony will be recorded by Winston Churchill Staff and a video will be uploaded to youtube.

The graduation ceremony will be live-streamed on NFHS for public viewing via this link: Graduation Streaming Link

Home and visitor bleachers will be available for any guest.  Please note that there will be no social distancing restrictions in these seating areas, per new CDC and MCPS guidelines as of May 28, 2021. Additional seating will be available on the Stadium Field behind the graduates (guests and graduates are not allowed to wear heels on the field).   These seats will be spaced out with at least 3’ of social distancing space between chairs.  Graduates’ seats will be socially distanced by 3’ on each side.  Principal Heckert will send the recording of her webinar with further guidance to all senior families.
