Summer School Information
The 2024 summer school /summer enrichment options for Churchill students. MCPS is providing two options (virtual and in-person options) for summer school. We have provided the links to MCPS Summer Programs site. Additionally, Churchill offers two-week enrichment courses in July (based on enrollment). MCPS Summer School registration will begin on March 22nd and information will be provided on the MCPS website. The MCPS options are the only options for taking a course for original credit (i.e. Health, Technology, Math, etc.) Please click here for information about program options. For any additional questions regarding MCPS summer school, please contact your child’s school counselor. WCHS Local Summer and Prep Program registration will also begin on March 22nd. Juniors and Seniors: The English Honor Society is hosting a field trip to the Planet Word museum on April 11th. This is an exciting opportunity to visit a local museum which explores and celebrates the English language. The field trip will include a workshop and open exploration of the museum. This field trip is only open to juniors and seniors. You do NOT need to be a member of EHS to attend. See Ms. Dempsey in 228 for the permission form, itinerary, and payment info or email [email protected]. Space is limited, so do not delay.
WCHS PTSA seeks members to participate on the Nominating Committee to help solicit candidates for the WCHS PTSA Board for the 2024-2025 school year.  This is a great opportunity and limited time engagement to provide support to the PTSA.  All meetings will be virtual and work to accommodate busy schedules.
