The Special Education Committee of the PTSA supports all students with a 504 or an IEP or families in the process of working with MCPS to receive 504 or IEP support. In addition, we provide advocacy and support for families, students and staff in the Autism Resource Service (ARS), Bridge and Classic Autism programs.
Join one of the PTSA Special Education Committee’s WhatsApp group to learn what’s happening in the Churchill special education community; share resources; and connect with other families. The groups are a safe space for families and caregivers to connect and share. There are no WCHS or MCPS staff in the groups.

9/25/26- Thank you to all who attended our first jointly sponsored PTSA and WCHS Cafecito on September 25! What a great opportunity for connection and sharing of information on getting a good start to the school year. We had a great turnout of parents and sincerely appreciated the special education leadership and WCHS administrators that prepared and presented helpful resources.
8/20/26- Thank you to all who attended the 8/20 Special Education Meet and Greet! We were thrilled to see so many families and students for conversation with Churchill families and staff.
