Student Engagement Committee

The Student Engagement Committee (“SEC”) focuses on the “S” in “PTSA” and works to combine students’ interests with the PTSA’s mission, “to make every child’s potential a reality.”

The committee engages the student community on multiple levels. The SEC organizes school-wide events to foster community and provide an outlet for students’ creative and social energy. In addition, the committee works with student leaders in the Student Government Association and school clubs to identify student interests and projects that can be supported by the PTSA. The committee also works with class faculty sponsors to develop and support student initiatives throughout the school population.

The committee is open to students and family members to join.

Pizza lunch with the Bridge Students

PTSA enjoys a pizza lunch with the Bridge Students who provided ways we could advocate for them as well as suggestions for how to make Churchill a more inclusive place.

Congratulations to Our Halloween Pumpkin Decorators!

Today during lunch the PTSA sponsored a pumpkin decorating contest with the students. Prizes were awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each grade. An overall winner of the contest was also named. Thank you to all of the participants and congratulations to the below winners:
